Level 3 Safe Space Training

Who is it for?

Any member leading a team of adults, leaders in charge (or at least one leader per unit with module four of the Leadership qualification), mentors, advisers, coordinators (except GO coordinators), licence holders on residentials, trainers and tutors. Those requiring Level 4 training for their role should not attend this training but wait and attend a combined Level 3 and 4 day training.

What to wear:

Please wear uniform for this event.

Lunch, travel and logistics:

Please arrive for drinks and registration half an hour before your training starts. Drinks and refreshments will be available during the day. Please bring a packed lunch. There will be two sessions during this day. Either book for the morning session, eat your lunch and then travel on or eat your lunch and then attend the afternoon session. You should seek to claim your travel expenses locally.

Prior Learning:

Before attending the training, you must have completed Level 1, 2 and 3 Safe Space elearning. The elearnings can be found here: https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/making-guiding-happen/learning-and-development/a-safe-space-training/

Eligibility:

Due to the limited spaces at this training, you must have a role that requires Level 3 training. If you have a role that requires Level 4 training we will kindly ask you to attend a combined Level 3 and 4 day training.
